400 ordered 47 built, 40 or so served on the Leningrad front. Unit annihilated, all vehicles lost.

I'd like to see a model of the proposed (never built) version carrying a recoilless gun

Why is it proving so difficult to find Das Werk items here in the states? They are supposed to have a branch/distributor here but from the lack of access to their products you would not know it.
I have access to a very large and armor focused hobby shop here and so far the only thing that has reached them in the Faun + trailer. I have had a request in for just the trailer for over a year with no results.
I can find it on eBay coming from Europe but the shipping is more than the cost of the model.
MDK-US is supposed to be their US Distributor but that website seems to be no longer functional.

The shipping directly from MBK in Germany would be free if the order is over 450 Euro or close to 540 USD.
Maybe if you gang up with some other modellers?
Add US customs et.c.
They have the trailer in stock, the new FAUN kit (hardtop or softtop) and the ammo-carrier are due mid/late September.
I can only offer my condoleances

Looks like a cool model.
On another note, the Germans produced a bewildering number of vehicle models, even ones like this which arguably were not needed.
