I just noticed both Dragon and Trumpeter have Kingtigers with Porsche turrets and zimmerit. Are they the same mold? Is one more detailed than the other? Thanks for any information.---John

They are not the same mold. I would go with the Dragon one (if it can still be found - Dragon tends to have a finite production run, and suddenly they're hard to find). If you really need to have one then Trumpeter might be easier to find (and also cheaper)and your only choice.

Marketing! Dragon re-releases some items years later at a marked up price. The initial research and mold-making have already been done, so the price increase is unjustified.
