I wonder if anyone's ever done a Paladin in something like this Panzerhaubitze:

Anyone seen anything around Fort Swill?

There’s a great video on Facebook of 2-82 FA receiving theirs. (Which I photographed the heck out of)
As for the Panda kit, if you see just the first page of my “Build a Better Paladin” thread you might want to wait and see if AFV Club decides to do one. The Panda kit is somewhat fictional, being a hybrid of prototype and production models. And it lacks a lot of fine detail you’ll have to add yourself.

Cool!

If the Paladin receives the 58-caliber barrel, achieving 43 miles will be similar to the Crusader SPH and the PZH2000.

I still think canceling the 40-ton Crusader SPH was a huge mistake.

I wonder if the M109A7 could be made into a FAASV armored COMMAND shelter for C5ISR. Seems that the US Army would really need that option besides just the AMPV as a command vehicle.

I was part of that project, and believe me it was nothing but a stepping stone for something far better. Think electric drive without using anyform of gun powder. It will come when congress finally puts an end to lobbying.

I just realized I photographed that very vehicle just days prior to that photo. The Grey Wolves are right up the street from 2-82 Steel Dragons. It's the middle vehicle in this photo, taken at the BAE facility on the southwest corner of the post.

I’m not at liberty to say why some Fort Hood vehicles are in NATO three tone, but I’m sure you can figure it out.

Are those new LED headlights? If so, about time the US Army went to LED white lights.

They have been used on HMMWVs and other wheeled vehicles for years.
