NOTE: the bottom two pics of Jims are of FORD #8 & #9 (Australian pattern) gun tractors. These had the ford V8 running gear of the Tamiya Quad kit and the cab, with minor differences to the grill and also the engine cover and floor inside the cab, of the Italeri kit.
They were not to my knowkedge ever built on the Chevrolet chassis. So it pays to do your homework before starting the build.
without been rude I also believe that we have highjacked this tread from it's original purpose

Here are some links which I missed earlier on:
http://geocities.com/canadian_military_pattern/Home.html
http://go.to/LWD
http://www.users.bigpond.com/ROD_DIERY/CMP.html
(this page goes a long way in explaining Cliff's comments about the Canadian and Australian vehicles)

As people can see, this is a huge subject area.....Jim

I never realized how many variants there are of this truck. Looks like it is time to branch out.

But a great way to be highjacked. One of my favourite subjects at the moment!

I reckon those with a Tamiya or Italeri quad to build should enough conversion choices now.
Plasticbattle: have we seen the complete Quad, limber & gun yet; smothered in amongst the rest of these posts? if not I'd like to .... ( tries to follow Roo's example and get back this thread back on track. )
