Hello....I am getting ready to build the Meng M2A3. This is going to be my first kit with full interior. I am trying to decide whether to paint all the inside parts while they are on the sprues, and adding the decals as I build....or build the interior and then paint and decal?

What do you guys think? For you who have built it...was it easy to place the decals after the interior has been built and painted....or were the decal locations hard to reach?

Thank you,
Eric

You can decal after building and painting interior. There are some parts that need to be painted before adding them to interior. But for the most part, you can build most of the interior and then paint.

I do it the same way as Pete. Build most of the interior and paint it. Then go back and decal and detail paint smaller parts. Then close it up and proceed with the exterior.

Hello....can anyone help me out on the color for the floor skidplate at the backdoor entrance?
The color call out says tire black...hard to tell from pictures online, but it looks more like a steel color?

Thank you and Happy Modeling,
Eric

Here in Valrico, just outside Tampa.

The rear floor section is a raised thick, diamond plate plastic section. It is a dull grey/black color.
