Hi Joe, I'm sure that there are a couple of resin kits of the MW series. When I remember where I've seen them I'll let you know!!

Try:
http://www.scalelink.co.uk/acatalog/Scalelink_Vehicles___Scale_1_35_40.html
I haven't tried any of this range so I don't know about service, delivery etc; but the kits have a good reputation.

hi dave,
there seems to be several in 1/76, but i want one in 1/35.
im not much of a softskin man myself, but i really like the look of the bedfords especially that little truck, i thought about an OYD but the AA kit is pretty expensive
cheers

If you had good reference pics and a few base measurements it probably could be scratch built and cast up in resin.
Accurate armor have the Bedford OYD in kit form but I cannot remember seeing a MWD model but I could be wrong.

thanks dave,
you must have posted the link just before my post.
with VAT it works out at £52.75, so its not too badly priced either.

cheers

The Tamiya quad has a full width cab which I think means that it can't be turned into a GS truck, as these were more like the Chevy body, with seperate steps on the sides. There was a truck built in India for local use which I had a pic of some time ago but have now lost - basically a stripped gun-tractor with a pick-up type bed and open cab ( not even a windscreen, had aeroscreens!)
I expect that Mr Roo will have some better informed ideas on this. One option would be to make a late model gun-tractor with the rear sides built up level and a full length canvas tilt.

Joe, I've still got a couple of conversion articles that Miltary Modelling did from the late 70's. One is for a 15cwt wireless truck, and the other is an F60L 3 ton GS. Both require extensive scratch building to produce the CMP No12 cab, but at least they provide some plans and templates for some of the parts. PM me if you're interested and I'll try and e-mail or post scans of the articles.

try this Joe
more pics in my gallery of under construction
I also suggest that you go to the AFV reference gallery and roo/'s truck archieves. under CMP you will find a file called cab 11 & 12. This shows a range of picstures of different types similar to the tamiya Quad (which is a 12 cab) The thing to watch with the Tamiya kit is that you can only use from the cowl unit forward. You have to remake the windscreen. Also if you are going to show the interior Tamiya got the cab area very, very wrong!
hope this helps
