The “D21” could be from any number of units, however, the unit ID on the door can give you the specific unit. Unfortunately with my vision I can’t make it out. When I enlarge it, it just gets blurry. If you make it out there’s a site where military (possibly civilians as well?) can look it up.

the code on the door is the vehicle serial number
the D21 on the bumper is D company 21 is the vehicle number
the parent unit is not known because the camo net on the other side of the bumper and the angle of the pic

Yes, the photo seems to have been shot in exercise Combined Resolve XIII or XIV
