I plan to do a model of that, since it looks like they appeared during the Anschluss. I know they were supposed to be poor vehicles, but are there walkarounds of these things? Did any survive?

Isn’t the Weald Foundation restoring one? I’m sure Hilary posted photos recently, although it’s still at the chassis stage.

Axis and Allied did a feature on the SdKfz 222 a few years back. I’m not sure it’s still in print, but it had a walk around on one in a museum. I’m pretty sure there are museum examples of the 221 too. I’d have to dig it out AA to find out which issue, but I did send someone here some email scans of the article a few months ago.
