Nice review Bruce. This looks very similar to the 917t trucks by IBG, which I've built a couple of. One of the problems they present, and which appears to be case with this kit, is the join between the front cab pillars and the cab roof. The real thing has no visible weld at that point but appears to be a single piece of pressed steel. The way the cab is broken down makes it something of a challenge to get the angles and joins correct.
Otherwise you are right that these kits pack a lot of nice detail, especially at this price. Windscreen wipers on the etched sheet would have been good though, and as you imply, they are kind of noticeable by their absence.
