working on tamiyas Tiran 5 and trying to find out did the tiran 5 use a coaxial mg ? or were the two holes on both sides of main gun just plugged ?

I don't see why they wouldn't have used a coax MG. One slot is for the coax, the other is for the telescopic sight.
