He was great as Bond and terrific as Marko Ramius. Not to mention The Rock, Outland, The Name of the Rose and The Untouchables.

RIP Bond, James Bond.

Steady, that's going too far. One of the last true superstars of the silverscreen, and from Musselburgh to boot.

The man was a legend. Around fountainbridge where he came from here in Edinburgh everybody used to claim they pushed him as a baby in his pram or they had their milk delivered by him. RIP

The nimrods in Hollyweird today can't hold a candle to this man (exception to Clint Eastwood, and a couple others). The mortality rate of these greats are matching my age experiences of when I was younger (starting in the late 60's), watching and wishing I could be like him (them), and always thinking how cool it would be to be as exciting as him. I followed Sean throughout his life. RIP Sean.

Sorry, but, no. Even Juan Sanchez-Villalobos-Ramirez, Chief Metallurgist to King Charles V of Spain, couldn’t pull off that outfit...

Highlander. The only film that cast a Frenchman as a scot, and a scot as an Egyptian.

I saw that years ago. Also "The Man Who Would Be King". It would make for an awfully long list naming all the great Connery films. Unfortunately, I don't think "Never Say Never Again" will be on that list, but that's not his fault.

I always liked the Anderesen Tapes but but never really understood it when I saw it as a young teenager. Much more understandable once I got a bit older.
