I just received a Meng M4A3E2 Jumbo Sherman and previous reviews on the web (different sites) showed a turned aluminum barrel being included.

My kit does not contain the metal barrel and the box top reads "FINE PE PARTS AND METAL CABLES ARE INCLUDED. A METAL BARREL IS INCLUDED IN THE FIRST BATCH OF PRODUCTS". The box art is dated 2019.

Should mine have came with the turned aluminum barrel or was this a limited offer?

Hey Jeff,

I understand there was a limited number of kits that included the aluminum barrel. I bought my kit several weeks ago from Sprue Brothers and assumed there would not be a metal barrel due to the kit's popularity. Surprisingly, there was a metal barrel included. Sorry your's did not.
