ok, description
if mud piles up on an object, and you pour water over it, the mud washes down the side of the object. after things dry up, you still have the little bit of mud dryed and streaked down the side of the object. how do i do that?
same when it comes to rust streaks, im guessing its the same concept, but in a very minor amount?

If you weather your vehicle with chalk pastels take a wide brush, slightly wet, and stroke downwards. When everything dries you should have a rain streaked effect down the sides of your vehicle. If not, re-weather with the pastels, and try again. (Remember to use chalk pastels, NOT oil pastels!)

Duck, Biggles is right on the money with the pastels. Light pressure and as many strokes as needed to get the desired effect. Once you are there, you can seal the area with flat coat to help "hold" it in place. A drawback to doing this though is that it may darken the area and the streaking effect will disappear. If you go with the sealer coat, apply the pastels heavier than normal to compensate for this. HTH "Q"
