Greetings all,

I am looking for ww2 era american soldiers, either in washing, or repairing armor poses.

Also, if anyone could direct me to photos of old french wells, that would be great. (I have 1 grainy picture that will be very hard to scratch build accuratly)

Thanks much

I don't recall any figures specifically doing that. You could definitely take and easily convert them though. Take the classic Tamiya Flame thrower figure and replace the FT with a hose.

I'm sure some of the VP mechanics could be adjusted to hold a rag vs a tool. Then you can also take VP GI and replace a rifle with a shovel and have them scrapping out the return rollers.

I have converted a British figure loading passing up ammo over his shoulder to cleaning a gun barrel. Took out the ammo shell and replaced it with a cleaning rod. You could probably make a long handle and mop too instead of just rags.

awesome guys! thanks a lot for the links and suggestions!

slodder: do you have any links to those figures? I can't find them online anywhere.

(I found the flamethrower kit on the tamiya site, but unfortunatly they don't sell direct)

You may also find some easily modified plastic figures from Tamiya and DML... I do quite a bit of repositioning to get what I want...
