hey all, in my dio i am going to include a german motorbike and rider, i wanted to know what coluurs would the riders leather jacket would be i know it will bill simular to the normam infantry uniform colour but i wasnt sure , anyone got any ideas. thnx, and also, how do give the leather effect instead of the normal clothing effect.

I'm not an expert on German stuff, but I think the jackets were black. For the color, I would paint the jacket gloss black and give it a flat black wash and a gray drybrush.

Tamaya had a set of motorbike riders once. I can check what the instructions on the back of the box says. I should have it lying around somewhere. I saved all the boxes for some reason.

deont think it was black as it was a rubberised item I think most were a dark grey colour
btw royal model makes a fantastic motorcyle rider and side car passenger

The coat was not leather they were a rubberized material and were "fieldgrey" in color, tend to be a bit darker than the normal Fieldgrey.

IMHO the color of the rubberized clothing od motorcyclist must be a greenish grey , a search for Kradschützen can help.
