Thanks Gino.
Cliff, the overall length is 19 3/4 inches long. The trailer is 34 feet and the tractor is 21 feet long by 1/35 scale. I use a 1/35 scale rule by C.T.T. Inc out of Dallas Texas.I bought the rule from my LHS for about $2.00 US. It makes it a lot easier to scale down my projects. The markings are in feet, inch, and millimeters. It also has a decimal and metric chart on it as well.

Whoaaaaaahhhh!!.........apparently I've been missing something! (no new news there , just ask my wife).
When did you begin this project animal!?!........I really need to just stop sleeping altogether, so I can catch up with all that's going on!
Please tell me where the original thread is so I can 'catch up'.........
Tread.
She looks superb animal! I just love the 'other' trucks out there. You know, the 'tippers', and the 'tankers' and the, oops......wait a minute......didn't YOU drive a tanker?

Trully impressive! I may be quite good at adding small details to my models, but this kind of scratch building is beyond my skills.
Congratulations Dave!

Don't anybody believe him!! #:-) You have built some of the greatest pieces displayed here. The biggest thing that impresses me about you is the amount of research you put into each of your projects. And then make the corrections to produce some of the most accurate examples out there. I am a big fan of your work. You are up on the list with Gunnie, Roo, Gino, Matt, Fabio, Ajalfeche to name a few and many more here at Armorama. I feel that we have some of the best talent on the web. as members here.
I do thank you for the compliment. It means a lot coming from guys like you.

Pardon my french, but, SACRE BLEU!!!!! Magnifique! As a former gas station attendant and current scale modeler, I say phenominal!!! Animal, Bro, you best yourself again.
Question though, do you cast your own tires or buy them separate? Being at that point in my own S.B. right now, I do hope to know.
Right on, Bro! Cuhail

Thanks for the kind words. To answer your question, I use wheels and tires from the AFV Club and Italeri kits. Some I have made molds and will cast a few for spare tires. My molds are old and I am not very happy with the way they have been turning out lately. I will have to make new molds some day when I can afford to.
