Does anyone know where I can get chains that would be good for 1/35 AFV?

Model Expo here in Florida sells chain link in different sizes. I think that their web site is http://www.modelexpo-online.com If you need some help ordering some I would be glad to help out if I can. When you get to the start page of their site got to ship fittings and down to chains. I buy there stuff all the time.

Verlinden has two chains with different thicknesses, you can probably get them from any online store like Military Hobbies

Model railroad hobby stores always carry fine chain for HO scale. In 1/35th they would be about 2 - 3 in. links. And there is P/E chain which is VERY fine - about 1 in. links. These are used for 1/300 and 1/750 scale model ships' anchor chains. I believe Squadron Shop carries the P/E chains.

One of the cheapest sources I've found is in the Mall.
If you have a shopping mall nearby, go in and look for one of those girl's jewelry and hair ribbon, whatever else stores. Ah ha, "Claires" is the name of the one down here. They sell very inexpensive necklaces which are perfect for 1/35th chains. Just look closely at the linking to determine if it's costume jewelry or looks like tow chains.
I've found a lifetime supply for about $10.

Ditto Kens idea - easy quick cheap. Jewelry! Don't go to the 'real' jewelry stores or you'll have a 'gem' of a model on your hands. :-)
