Jim - I think the Trumpeter M1 Panther Mine Clearing Tank is available for ordering - I've got one on the way from HobbyLink Japan at this time...

Well, looking at the review, it appears the wheels use the same poly-cap hubs as the other M1 kits, which is a decidely weak point of the kit. The gap that appears because of this is really noticable and difficult to correct if not impossible.
That being said, I welcome the new kit, thanks Trumpeter!

Sorry, what I meant to say is that it isn't being shipped to Europe or the states YET. Although knowing my luck there are probably shiploads of them being unloaded as we speak....Jim

Yep - I guess I'm gonna rob another Abrams kits for a set of road wheels...

I was a little surprised at the retail over at HobbyLink Japan - $25 bucks. I wonder what the price will be when it hits the shelves here in the States...

Guys,
I suggest you wait for DML release of their Panther II kit later this year if you want to build this vehicle. I have good reasons to believe it will be very accurate, unlike Trumpeter release. Can't reveal any details, but I can tell you that it will have correct newly tooled IPM1 hull - not M1A1 hull as Trumpeter kit.

Well - that's good news! I still won't mind having the Trumpeter M1 Panther - it will make a great foundation for a T2K fantasy tank if anything else.

Wasn't this tank supposed to be a R/C controlled for the mine clearing, it looks as though they got it for a manned operation with the MG mount, and it doesn't have the big antenna in the back like the one I seen before.
