I've spent nearly three days searching on the internet, in books, and on other military forums with no result. Maybe someone here has the info. but it's a bit obscure.
For the M7 Priest that Halfyank has posted to me. I'm looking for cammo and markings for a 105mm (SP) Priest used by the 98th (Surrey & Sussex Yeomanry, Queen Mary's Own) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. They were at Salerno and Cassino with the 8th Army. This unit was my local TA ( reserve for the Yanks here) Artillery unit so I'd really like to model this as one of their vehicles. I could make asumptions based on the pic of an 8th Army Priest in Chamberlain & Ellis 'Encyclopedia of British & American Tamnks of WW2' but I'd rather make sure if I can.

Sorry I don't have the information you are looking for , but perhaps I can give you another idea of how to locate it. Our American Legion veterans group puts out a monthly magazine. In the back of it are numerous listings for reunions of different units. If you have access to something similar, or of another way to contact veterans of the unit, perhaps you can get some photos from them.

Thanks for the tip 19K, but as a former Royal Artillery Gunner, I've already tried that route. All I'm really hoping is that someone will have an obscure pic in a book or something like that.
The most useful site for Royal Artillery unit info. that I've found is
http://www.ra39-45.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/index.html
This is where I found the info. on the unit and equipment, but as there is no formation info. for the Italian campaign, I can't trace the insignia from it.
