Toni--Have you ever heard of Marku Uusipaavalniemi? He skipped the Finnish curling team in the last Winter Olympics. The announcers had plenty of trouble with that name. During one of the games, someone in the stands started chanting: Give me a 'U'. Give me a 'U'. Give me an 'S', and so on, spelling his entire name #:-) . I thought that was just a funny story worth sharing.

Jack, thanks is "kiitos" in Finnish. And our favourite curse is "perkele!", as introduced by so many Finnish javelin throwers!

She said "..he´s gotta be Canadian if he watches curling because nobody else does!"
Just keep in mind she spent a whole year in the US and she was brainwashed the American way! It makes this kind of statement easier to put in proportions...
