I like the diorama. Like MrRoo said it's well thought out. I like the idea of pairing the shermen with the M20. I have one question if I may, what made you decide to go with the dark grey on both the street and the building? I like the effect it gives. Almost like the vehicles are passing through a burnt out area, or part of a city that has seen some very heavy fighting. either way well done.

Totally agree... need to get a little dirty... I am adding more debris and ‘dirting” it up a bit more. Thanks! John

Exactly my intent. I wanted the feel of a heavily fought over area.. Burnt out, battle weary. Hence the dark under shadows and bark umber, dark gray and black under coating and dry brushing. thanks for your comments!

The posters you added since the last posting do the trick. I like the burnt effect on the poster edges. Added to the dary grey bombed out somber mood

Thank you! ( is that “Danka”?)

The posters I found online (google searchg), downloaded, scaled to 1/35 in Microsoft Word and printed on the color printer. Cut out, white glued to wall (a lot of advertising and propaganda posters were simply pasted to the walls) and burned and weathered.

Thanks ShermieRules. They are all German Propoganda Posters calling on the French to 1. Join the Vichy, 2. French workers come work in Germany, and 3. French Legion to fight the Communist on Russian Front.

They added the feel I was seeking.

Thank all!
