I am doing the old Tamiya M8 HMC for the Incoming campaign. Of the course the tracks are ancient. My question is this..............I built the Academy Stuart, but did not use the indi track links on it. Could I use them on the M8?

You might also want to look into the sets from AFV Club for the M3/M5 chassis series. They have two different track patterns. Both are individual link sets, with the end-connectors separate and molded onto trees at the right spacing for use as an assembly guide.

The AFV tracks are a big improvement. I have the osprey stuart modelling book and according to Zaloga the AFV running gear seperate kit is well worth adding as well, to improve on the tamiya version.

I have no doubts about that. The only problem is that I have finished assembling the kit for the most part, and I was just looking for a way to help those old tracks. I used the Verlinden interior set on the kit to liven it up. Even for a veteran of the '70' s this little kit still has a lot of character.
