some guys on here told me regular isoprobyc alchohol was used to thin paints and not just regular rubbing alchohol, i found stuff called isoprobyl rubbing alchohol, it had isoprobyl in the text and rubbing alchohol, im confused...

huh?? isopropyl or isoprobyc or isoprobyl??
as far as my organic chemical is concern, there're no such thing as isoprobyc or isoprobyl (correct me if i'm wrong..it's been 15 yrs i leave school)...
the one that many of us use is isopropyl alcohol or in the I.S.O name is isopropanol
iso is the term use the differentiate the molecular structure of any organic compound...
