Hi fellows,

I am working on my drawing for my museum project and I wanted to know how big a 1/76 scale Sherman is

(if possible in cm)

Also, I am planning a diorama in a diorama, and I have heard of some very small scale tanks (german and allies), smaller then 1/76.

Anyone knows how small you can go, how detailed are they and where to to get those?

GHQ models does have very small tanks 1/285. Dunno about the details/how accurate it is. They review it as very poor when it comes to details.

Hope this helps

Height over turret hatch 108" 274cm (in 1/72 3.8 cm, 1.5 inches )

Length without gun, without sandshields 230" 584cm (in 1/72 8.1 cm, 3.19 inches

Width without sandshields 103" 262cm (in 1/72 3.64 cm, 1.4inches)

The 1/72 dimensions above match up pretty well with a Hasegawa M3 model I have in my stash.

I just finished a 1/76 scale M4A1 Sherman, the dimensions are:
3.5 cm wide
4 cm tall
7.5 cm long

Click on my photos below to see shots of it.
