Hi guys need a little help from all tankies out there.......
In my room at home I have a Panther type G, with I want to re-use in another dio.......
Theres just one problem. Due to my EVIL little sister the Barrel is snapped about 2/3rds down and the end is missing......!
Now I need an idea to explain this in a upcoming dio .........
The only idea I could think of would be an breach/premature explosion which would sheer it clean off and peel back the barrel like a banana!
Are there any other ideas out there!!!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance......

There is a pic of a King Tiger with the end of the barrel blown off, so if the Panther is knocked out, it is certainly possible to lose the end I would think....

Ouch....Comes to mind ...
Does the Panther G have an emergency escape hatch?
Just thought having the front half buried in rubble might hide the barrel.............Just an idea
any thoughts........
Thanks so far guys......

A couple of options other than the blown barrel.
You could do it with the tank flipped or sunk in the water camoflaging the end of the barrel with the muddy bottom of the water.
Check out the Missing Links Gallery for Mirko B or was it Mig??? who did a flipped/submerged panther.. wow!!
Or ask here or any of the other internet sites, lots of folks are using aftermarket barrels and might have the kit barrel left over and unused.
If it weren't over the pond, I'd send you a kit barrel gratis. Just ask you to return the favor to some other poor sod sometime later down the road. Karma and all..
Good luck
Mike

Hmmmmm. never thought of that, never done water before either. Might be a chance to kill 2 birds with one stone.
Unfortunatly theres a bit more mising than just the barrel, it's just the only part I can't fabricate or scrounge off an old kit. still........Nice Idea none the less........Cheers.......

just another thought....what about an internal explosion blowing the turret off? or having the thing sunk in the mud, leaning to one side, abandoned? just a thought.
