Here are some sites that may help.
www.military.cz/panzer
www.wwiivehicle.com
http://members.shaw.ca
www.jagdtiger.de

plus you may want to search this site. If my memory serves me, someone put togeather a page of Sherman references some time back. IF all else fails do a google search. Lastly, check altravista.com for some detail stuff.

Good luck, I hope this helps

Kitbasher,

Yes, the 105mm was used in the Ardennes. They were used throughout the ETO from '44 to the end of the war.

There is an extensive list of sites done by our good friend Tuga HERE

To get you started, here's a couple pics of her in the Ardennes:

For anyone living in or near Indiana (sorry those of you in different countries), I found a site on that huge list of sherman references that led me to serial numbers. I looked for M4A3 105 tanks (I have the same model and am starting it as soon as I finish my Abrams for the campaign) and found that one is in a Ropkey Armor Museum. I haven't checked out to confirm it as there is another armor museum in nearby Anderson. But if its true, that'll will be awesome because its been pretty hard to find many references that so things other than a spreadsheet to specs. I also thought I saw an M4A3/105 on the list as being in a museum in New Jersey. Have to check that out.

If you are talking about the Squadron Publication No.16 I just picked up this book yesterday. It is a fantastic book but does not have a section on the M4A2 or any version of the 105mm Sherman. Of course I bought this book at the bottom of the discount bin with an inch of dust on it. There may be a later edition that includes the A2 and 105mm but it's not in the one I bought yesterday.
