Wondering if anyone has Jordio Rubio barrel number 34? I posted a question to J&R Enterprises if they had a barrel for the M-36 without muzzle brake or extractor. They said that JR 34 is what I need. When I cross checked the number with the Barrel Stores list, it said it was a 90mm barrel for the M-26 Pershing. J&R's site does not have a photo link for the barrel, so I would like to confirm what it looks like before ordering.
Thanks,
Eric

Well, the M36 was a 90mm gun platform. I don't know if the gun was identical to the Pershing, but the length and taper of the barrel might have been. Most of the Rubio barrels are applicable to multiple uses-- on the back of the packaging they show side-views of the possible uses. So this may be the right barrel. Plus, Rich at R&J generally knows his stuff.

Thanks for the replies. I know R and J know their stuff. My concern is that the barrel is for the post war M-36s. I would like a barrel without the muzzle brake and fume extractor but with the thread guard. That's why I asked if anyone has the JR barrel so that they can tell me what it looks like.

Boy, do I feel like an idiot. Started thinking about the stuff I've gotten from R&J and remember buying some JR barrels. Sure enough I have #34 barrel. It is just for the Pershing T26E3 or M26. While the length maybe ok, it has a muzzle brake. Even if you leave it off the end thread protector looks to different to adapt without a lathe.
Jim never notice the region area before. Nope haven't moved and have changed my profile.

There have been enough new players into the lathe-turned barrel market, that I'm sure someone has to have what you need. Aber, Eduard and Elefant all do barrels, as does Modelpoint. You might try poking around the VLS site (www.modelmecca.com).
