Here's a sneak peek at the "Late War American Tanks" book that I am in the process of putting together for Letterman Publications. Release date in late June. The book is authored by David Doyle.

I like seeing the SP artillery like that-- how good is the coverage of that vehicle in the book overall?

Unfortunately, there is not much info on that piece available, I think that this book has everything I have seen in the past (which is very little) plus a bunch of new stuff. 23 historical photos in all. Another 24 post war detail shots.

That M40 SPG (Self-Propelled Gun) saw plenty of service in Korea.
Dave: I also love the "Super Pershing" pic and the Chaffee!

No late war Sherman stuff in this book, that is planned to be covered in a later book on Shermans. This book covers the T26E3, M24 Chaffe, and the M40 SPG.
