I read somewhere that mixing paint on a recipe card absorbs excess oils. Does this apply to oil paints or enamels as well?

It works on enamels as well, specially when you use the thick heavy pigmented paint thats on the bottom of the jar.

When drybrushing, I use buisness cards as my palett. The oils soaks into the cardboard and leaves a dryer paint to drybrush with. As my job position changed 45 times in the last 2 years, i have about 1000 od these to play with
