Heya, Folks!

I'm building up the 72nd scale RG Mervkava III... Over the years I have seen pictures of what seems like MANY shades of paint on Israeli AFVs... Olive green, light grey, middlestone yellow, etc. etc. etc.

What is the most common shade these days and is there a similar Tamiya shade...?

Thanks a bunch!

Aloha,

Johnny B

I use 2138 Israeli Armor Sandgray. I vary the weathering but find this to be the best overall base color.

Johnny.
According to the IPMS Israel magazine, the most correct combination is this one:

Humbrol:
3 parts #187
3 parts #29
1 part #125

good luck!

Hello,

How accurate is Academy Sinai Grey?

I used it painting my merkava3.
