It appears that's a dedicated ambulance version, hence the roominess. Won't be good reference for a 'regular' Stryker Good photos of it though, haven't seen that version yet.

Here are a bunch of shots of the Stryker Infantry Carrier. There is quite a bit of room inside it too.
However, I will not go into the actual protection it gives the crew. That has been debated here before. I still prefer a tracked, armored vehicle over essentially an armored car.
