I have a sheet of photoetch that i need to airbrush, seeing as this is my first time painting photoetch, can any one advise me what would be the best procedure for this?
Does it need priming, or can i just airbrush it with the colour i need? (tamiya white).
thanks
lee

I usually sand my PE parts with a fine grit sandstick before I attach them to my model. This would not only make the bonding of the CA glue good but also help the paint to properly stick to the surface of the PE part. I've also heard that other modelers dip the PE set in vinegar before working on them.

I dont treat the PE parts seperately. I just stick 'em on. The only special treatment is that any model with PE is sprayed with auto primer before painting.
