Hello
I looked at your M-4 very carefully. The use of the shade of OD on the M-4 is great.
Your weathering is not overstated or cluttered.Your add on equipment looks quite
real. Overall this is a very well done show quality track.
What is the shade and manufactures name on the OD base coat?

The paint is Tamyia Olive Drab. My painting is done with Prussian blue undercoat. I airbrush using 6 layers of paint thinned with denatured alcohol 33.33/66.66 paint/alcohol blend. The paint builds slowly and takes time to get the undercoat covered. I add a few drops of khaki in coat #5 and my base's dirt color in coat #6. I then dry brush, with a final very light dry brush in Khaki and pure white.

Just a great scene John. Mind sharing how you make your sand bags? Very very impressive. Thanks.

This was a commission piece, the buyer requested a M4 Accessories Verlinden Set.. In these pictutres you will see my own sandbags:
Normally I make my own sand bags out of tissue paper folded over and white glues down one seam. I cut them to shape, fold in & glue one end and fill with HO Railroad ballast. Tie of the other end and drop them in place and then paint them with a white glue (50/50) & Water. and push them into the final postion I want -- adding any Bogie, cans, track or whatever as they dry. This allows me to ripa few openand letteh "sand" nside spill out.
Hope that helps I can email you a picture of the process if you are interested.
John
