Yeah, I did see that Kenc'. Isn't it only available in1/76th scale or some such? Not really sure what kit I would mate it to. I'm sure others would know.

Or Kenc', maybe that's a very early version of the 'Brown Water Navy'...... #:-)

I have a Russian magazine with complete plans for this beast. If anyone wants a scan they can PM me. It is cool... what a scratch-build project...

It is for a Panzer 2 or 3, though.

Roger that 2-2dragoon. Can you imagine what size it would have to be to float a King Tiger?

LOL Tread!
It's 1/35th scale resin and brass kit from Brach Models of Italy. It says it's for the Maquette model of the Pz. 38(t). Maybe it will fit the Italeri kit too.

It never saw operational use, not even in the several 1940 river crossings.

I'm guessing it was designed for Op. Sealion?

The article has pictures of it in a still lake or river... no current at all or waves... I do not think it would do well in the channel with its wind and waves...

But looks really wide should take waves good don't you think? When I served in Korea we had little not wide boats to span the ImJim river to put bridge in and we done it. After monsoon rains we couldn't as water was flying by. This is how we lost 3 American GIs

This is a superb little conversion. In fact Brach makes exquisite little conversions based around the smaller German panzers. they also produce, a Pz IB interior, a driving school conversion, an ambulance panzer conversion (now that is on e cool item!à Definitily interesting, difinitely worth owning, qnd definitely worth building and displaying. If you can't find them elsewhere, I can get them.
