Hi,
Friends and I, none who have ever used the stuff, are chatting about the Atak Zimmerit sheets.
We can't decide are they thin flexible sheets like Cavalier or thick and inflexible like the old Verlinden (non-PE) etch for the Panther.
Thanks.
Mike

Atak resin, thin sheets or large solid slabs?

They are very much like Cavalier, except better. There are some pieces like mantlets and hatches that are as thick as the kit parts because they are direct 100% replacements.
I say the Atak sets are better because the patterns are better (I've not tried the fit). The problem with Cav is that they obviously just dragged a razor saw across the surface and jiggled every so often. The Atak sets are much more realistic, apparently applied with a single-edge tool like the real thing.
