Hi guys! What color should I use for my Flak? I'll be putting it in a diorama, a barn should do. The location is in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge. Should I go for the dark grey then add a whitewash? Do they still whitewash the Flak even it is inside the barn?

I believe that all German equipment made after 1943 was dark yellow. There is a article on German colors on the diorama page that could help you out a little more. I'm pretty sure that late war gear had red primer under dark yellow paint. The stuff that did get a camo job was a dark red and green over the yellow. Hope this helps.

I agree with wolfsix. After 1943 equipment was painted 'commonly' with the dark yellow. One of my flaks above

Here's a color scheme they used in Band of Brothers in that very same area you are talking about.
