lichen problem

hello there

this is my first time attaching lichens to my tank as camo..i used white glue and it woudn't stick that well. is it a common problem?

The thing is that there is not a lot of surface area for the glue to stick to on lichen. That is probably why it doesn´t stick that well.

You could try a different type of glue, like superglue or two component glue. That is a little stronger than white glue so it might work better.

Depending on where you are trying to attach the lichen, you may have to tilt the model so that the surface is laying flat. Once glued on, let it dry completely and you should be ok. The trouble with lichen forme, is that here it dries out and if you so much as look at it wrong, it crumbles. Once I get it attached to something, no more touchy, feely. "Q"

Lichen is lichen. It looks like lichen. Try adding some ground spices like parsley, sage, rosemary or Simon and Garfunkle. Don't used shredded foam as that works for HO railroads but not 1/35th stuff. Unfortunately, we can see leaves in our scale. Or, after inhaling enough diorama chemicals we can see dead people, too.
