I know this model has been done many many times, but i would like to know which is the right colour to use for the camo, was it brown or green.iv serched high and low on the net but had no luck.i have a book called the modelers guide to the tiger tank and on the front cover is S33 with dark green camo, but then i found a great model that someone did on the track-link gallery and he had brown for the camo.i know it may sound silly but ifi did it in green and posted the pictures on this site someone might say no you have the colour wrong .sorry for going on but to be accurate you have to do some research.many many thanks /karl

Karl,
I used Green when I built my S33.. I think that is the "accepted" color scheme, but you'll probably get other opinions also..
You can see my S33 in my Gallery, on page 3

Hey good question...I know the feeling ....I've been wanting to do one of these Das Reich tanks for a while...It all depends on which reference you have ....I have books saying they were 3 toned (Tigers in combat II) but you look at their color profile they have it in Dark grey and red brown??? You look in Tiger I on the Eastern front they have the color profiles as dark yellow and red brown .(same artist as TIC II) Tiger I heavy Tank 1942-1945 in the New Vanguard series says green...So take your pick ...state your source and no one can really say you were wrong. Hey I wanted to do S13 but that is worse it was originally grey and repainted ....hmmm what kind of mix that might have been . :-)

Rick
p.s Hey Dave (SS-74)good to see you on here been a long time .
