I live in my RV as a snowbird. My wife does not like for me to be airbrushing in the house [RV]. So I would like to know is there a way that I can airbrush outside and still achive a good finish?? Please help.

Make a home made paint booth. There is a thread here somewhere or a feature on how to make an inexpensive spray booth.

As long as you're sheltered from the Wind, and cover it ASAP you should be fine.

I airbrush outside often as there is nowhere to do it indoors. Matt is right, shelter from the wind is essential or wait for a calm still day....and get it back indoors as soon as possible.
I do a bit at work during the lunch break sometimes as we have an airbrush area, now defunct as we do everything on computer these days. But its a pain to transport delicate models to and fro.
But outside is OK....has to be for me....at least there are no ventilation issues...lol.
Cheers
Peter

We have the luxury in Australia of being able to paint outside very often. Even in winter we get nice sunny days. A agree though with everyone here about getting your work covered up. I use an old (large) tupperware container (see there really is thousands of uses for tupperware) and after ive painted something i put the upturned conatiner over the model. The container is clear also so i can easily avoid touching the model with the container. The good thing is that with our summer warmth the ground radiates the warmth quickening the drying time of the paint. May not be of much help if you live in a colder location...but get your models covered up asap
