All that is needed to be done is to lash down the loads and weather and dust everthing.

This one is a gift for a Vietnam Brother Trucker. It will be presented to him at the Gathering in a couple of weeks after the Museum dedication.

Dave I am in awe of you! Another fantastic truck coming off your bench.
and here is me yet to finish one for this campaign and as the starter of this one I think that it is bad for the campaign leader not to have finished one

Dang, your trailer is way bigger than mine!!
Just curious, if a hirsute newbie were to build a Vietnam era truck for a Marine Vet who served in Vietnam, would that self same lack witted newbie perhaps put the USMC above the truck number on the hood?
PS Your tires rock!

The USMC trucks that I saw in Nam didn't have any markings on the hood. They had unit markings on the front and rear of the truck. On the rear of the cargo bed they had the vehicle ID number and USMC painted on it just below the tail gate. One truck that I saw had the USMC emblem on the side of the cab doors. It was the only truck that I saw with the emblem. This was in 1967.
