Cool, glad to see the progress you've made.
I like the way you've adapted the figures from other kits. I've commented before the mixture of kits and layout are nicely done. This one is 'different' for me and I like it.
On the 'critique' side, two things, More STUFF in the LVT, it looks to clean. Even if it's just tie down straps and ropes coil up if the job is all done.
The second you may only be able to consider for next time. The infamous track/tire impressions. The LVT's had those big dig-in paddle tracks that leave very distinctive impressions. On the same note, unloading and loading foot prints or track marks in and out of the LVT.
I'll end on a upbeat note - I love the texture of the sand, very nicely done.

both vehicles, groundwork and the tent all looks very nice. i agree Scott on it would be a better scene with some more load here and there but I can say this is the best one I have seen with your name.

Thanks Scott and guys,
I have to agree with you scott there needs to be more stuff in the LVT. I may put some more barrells and jerry cans in.
You won't guess what the dirt/sand is!!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Its cinnamon over a spackle mix.

Ola Andy
Indeed indeed you are making some terrific progress here and you created a very nice scene.
Besides what scott already mentioned about more stuff in it I think it would look even better with more dirt in the vehicle itself. Opentop vehicles tend to get dust on the inside too and the crew that walks in and out doesn`t clean their shoes either before they enter not to mention the Vehicles and other stowage. all would bring their own dirt with them.
Further fantastic scene and a great assembled and painted vehicle

Lord Kiwi Dude
Very very nice. As I mentioned in your prior "in progress thread", the concept/layout of this scene is well balanced--very good.
The overhead tarp really jumps out of this dio as looking very authentic. The tarp shape and its creases/bulges give it that look of a gust of wind moving through it -- nice touch (and well painted/weathered by the way).
This is an ambitous scene for you with the LTV, Jeep, figs, and equipment. Not an easy task bringing all these items together effectively, but you have done well here sir. Congrats.
What's next???

Andy, very nice looking little dio there! No need to mention what the others said about extras, but I bet you have the nicest smelling dio around! :-) What was used for the tarp, tissue paper soaked in white glue?

I agree with everything here, so there is no use in repeating it. Unlike others the second thing I noticed (I shouldn't have to say what was the first thing I noticed) was a need for a couple more guys. where is the Jeep driver. Did those two unload all that stuff? Where is the rest of the crew for the LVT? 2 guys couldn't man the LVT and drive the Jeep (I mean they could though they'd only drive). Otherwise awesome job.

Once again thanks for the comments.
Steve, I have no idea what I am gonna build next. Just waiting and hoping the stuff from Dave shows up.
KellyZak: yep it is tissue paper but I just folded it up a couple of times then sprayed it with brown and that held it in place and from there did detail painting and weathering.
US Navy: i thought about adding more figures but I didn't have any others suitable in my spares box and I didn't really want to go out and buy more.
Hope that helps
