G'day, as the title suggests, i would like to know how big a kilometre in 1/72 scale would be, in centremetres? cheers

well, leme see
1km = 1000 metres
1000m = 100.000. centimetres
in 1/72 scale that would be 100.000 splitted by 72
which goes to...
hmmm...
(using calculator)
1388 cm or 13.9 metres?

you are good in math Mirko...yes..it is 13.888888=13.9 meters in 1:72 scale

LOL! :-) wow, thats big, reason i was aksing is because i was reading some stuff on ww1 and it said artillery (with the exception of short range artillery, and infantry guns) was placed 10km behind the front line.....hmmmm, dont think i will be showing the front line AND the artillery now, might stick to some short range artillery cheers thanks for that
