ok , box shows them painted (side of box 3 color camo) black as if they are rubber. I am trying to verify if this is correct.
Anyone know if these were rubber or steel, the road wheels are all steel it appears.
Thanks, sorry if this is a dumb question but I have zero references for the Karl and I decided last week to take the plunge and build mine.

It's a museum photo series so of course everything is covered with that garish gloss epoxie paint ,but I believe the return rollers look like rubber. On p.04 of the set there's a B&W photo in the background which shows the Morser in a field setting, looks like rubber there too. Try to ignore the vehicle in the B&W foreground , It's the ammo carrier for the 'Karl'. HTH
