Excellent work! Where did you get your plans? Draw them yourself? If not are they available through some online source? How long have these beuties taken you to construct. Give us details man...all the scary details.

Sean :-)

THANK YOU ALL July 12 2002, 5:51 PM

Thank you all. You all have inspired me to finsh the interiors. It will take time, due to fact the Verlinden LVT4 interior is Canadian $69.00 + 15% taxes. This makes it very expensive to do all these kits and a few more I want to build. I will have to scratch build and learn how to cast my own.
Kencelot I received my three kits of LVT Buffalo about two years ago. With my limited resources soon after I started to modify the pontoons of one kit, to have the upswept boogies on the rear as per the LVT2. I realized then that Squadrons plans enlarged to 1/35 was an easy way to get all my dimensions for the upper hull. All the gull wings are thin aluminium, that I formed in the tool that I made.
Next I made the LVT3, I still have to scratch build the track, which I have to cast in resin. A resin and RTV silicone kit in Canada is about $120.00 to $140.00 including taxes. I have never worked with this before.
Sean to answer your question, I do not keep track of time. This hobby and others is what I enjoy doing in my free time from my family and responsibilities. Most of the time spent on my hobbies is one hour before I leave for work in the mornings ( it relaxes me for the drive to work ). Sorry I got off topic. I started the LVT2A, LVT4 early and LVT4 late as a mass production in the second week of January to mid June, to the stage that you see them now.
Any information and pictures is appreciated. All work on my hobbies are dormant right now,
due to renovations on the house.
Chuck there will be more photos of the LVT5A1 in the future
Kencelot thank you very much for fixing my link.
Thanks again.
Ralph
