I heard that Testors will be phasing out the Model Master enamlels. Has anyone else heard this, or is it just a rumor?

That is what they have most of, I think you heard wrong, their best lines is in enamel with the FS numbers, around here you can't get hold of their acrylic

Just checked the website, nothing about it there. What was ther in the "What's New" section are assortments of ENAMELS matched to specific nationalities and theatres in WWII. This is reminiscent of what Humbrol did in the late 70's. So it would appear that MM enamels are safe for a whle.

Well that's good to hear. I guess the MM enamels are just being discontinued at one of the stores I frequent. It sounded strange to me considering the FS enamels are their top seller...

I hope they will continue in the market. For me MM enamels are great. I love them.

with the ocassional humbrol in a pinch, MM is all I use. Both acryls and enamels paint great, and the bottles are indespensible for paint mixing.
