Hi,
I've got the Modelkrak PT91 conversion kit for the Tamiya T72.
Unfortunately, there is no camo scheme. Does anybody have pics or complete scheme as well as proper acrylic references to match it.

TIA

I don't know much about Polish tanks (well, I know - it is strange ), but I think there is no single camo pattern. Each tank has different one, although probably similar within one unit.

Can't help you with colors - I doubt they have exact equivalents in FS or other standard colors, so may be difficult to mach to model paints.

I'd go with the 3 Tamiya NATO colours. Sorry I can't help on the pattern though.

Hi,

Vodnik is right- we have different camouflage for our PT-91.
BUT it seeems that each batch of tanks leaving BUMAR Labedy factory receive the same pattern of camouflage (photos of tanks waiting for delivery for units confirm this fact).
Another patterns could be created during service on units level.
At the moment Polish PT-91 receive similar to NATO 3-tone camouflage. But in the past you could see another: 1- colour: dark green, 3- colour: green+ brown+ black, 3- colour: dark green+ brown+ black.
Bumar demo tank is painted in "Malaysian" camouflage: yellow+ brown+ green.
And finally: you should know that Modelkrak conversion has a lot of errors and mistakes. Unfortunately I can say that it looks only similar to PT-91.

Hi all
thank you for your input.
Have any of you a scheme of camo for the PT91 leaving the plant.
Even if the various batches aren't painted the same scheme, I can't imagine there is no "official" one especially with Poland so close to NATO.

TIA

NB: being away for a tour of duty, I won't answer as quickly as you could expect it.

cheers

Poland is not just close to NATO. Poland is regular NATO member since March 12th, 1999.

And trust me, we do not have "official" camouflage pattern for our armor... Colors yes, but pattern no.

Hi Pawel,
sorry for my "misknowledge" of NATO but being French ;-) it's understandable. We've been out for so long now.
Thank you for your input about the non official scheme. I intend to use the Tamiya NATO color range. Being away for a while, this is jsut a project as I need to gather more info about both versions of PT91 before beginning the construction. It seems that Modelkrak conversion is the Polish army -intended version while I find more export version pics than appropriate ones.

Cheers
