I recently bought my first Tamiya kit, M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage #35081. I got the kit home and opened it up and Holy Cow!! the instructions are all in Japanese. Are all Tamiya kits like this or just the ones bought overseas?

If anyone has built this kit I would appreciate it if I could get a copy of the instructions.

The Tamiya kits I have, have two version contained in the box. An English and a Japanese verion.

Don't know if this is standard, or that I'm just lucky with the kits I bought.

Generally speaking, if a kit was made by Tamiya America (here in the states) or imported by MRC (Model Rectifier Corp. in Edison, NJ), it includes a set of English instructions. Kits boxed in Japan usually have only Japanese instructions.

Mark, e-mail or PM me your address and I'll get a photo copy off to you tomorrow.

I made a copy of the instructions using big paper (11" x 17") and sent them in the mail.

This has been my experience also on both old and new kits. If you buy them in the states you should be just fine from what I have experienced.
