Hi, Hang in there cfbush2000. As the owner of the '43 model kit, the wait is well worth it. It will keep you busy for some time to come when it does get here.

Looks like the 1942 kit is the 1943 are basically the same, except for the turret and all it's goodies. Too bad a person can't just buy the turret separately and then just switch them back and forth between bodies. Ha! Yeah, I know, Trumpeter can't make money that way. Oh well. I imagine both of the /85s kits will be pretty much the same way, between them too. Which in a way is good, as the 'boss' is not going to allow me to spend that kind of money on plastic for all 4 kits. And I really can't blame her.

As far as I can see the only negative of this kit is that you won't be able to view much of the engine when it's done. I wonder how much of a problem it would be to open the engine compartment.
