WWII era (roughly). Both Enlisted and Officer levels. I added some special unit levels to balance out the enlisted ranks to number 11 levels.
Have fun!

Jim,
Excellent news. As soon as I get home, I'll see how these look on my shoulders.

Outstanding! I can't wait to hit send in order to see what it looks like. Thanks a lot Jim.
EDIT: Hey cool. Even though I took a demotion, Lt Gen to Brigadier. Probably just another way the Yanks were over paid, along with being over sexed and over here.

I am not sure I like the officer ranks as they are. Should they be on a shoulder board?
What do you think?

Should they be on a shoulder board
Would that make them much smaller? I mean would you still be able to see them well enough on a shoulder board? If it doesn't change their relative size, then fine.
Really though, whatever is easiest for you. We're just thankful you added them, at least I am.
(OK, OK, I'm kissing up, but you know the three ways to succeed, knowing what to kiss, whose to kiss, and when to kiss it.)

OK, OK.......
I wouldn't be a proud Canadian if I didn't ask.
Can we have Canadian ranks now???? LOL
I even found a page that has all of the ranks on it, already on shoulder boards.
The Navy has some different names for its ranks, as per usual for the boys in white. And although the airforce and army have different color shoulder boards their ranks are the same.
Please, please pretty please!! All the shoulder boards can be downloaded as a .gif file...just not sure if they are big enough or not!!
Here they are anyway.
Canadian Ranks
If not, or it would be too much work...its no big deal....just thought that since there are lots of Canadians on here as well....they would appreciate some ranks from home!!!!

I found some nice shoulder boards, so I converted them. Not sure what era they are from. Look WWII'ish.

I may add some at some point. Let me finally get to the German ranks and then I will be mostly caught up.

I'm sorry, but I like the ones without the shoulderboards better... Well I guess I'll have to learn to live with these #:-)

Hmmmm it just might look better, but I don't know about the sound.... when I look at the rank and I read you are a Pułkownik......don't know.... sounds like something you need medication for ... does it itch #:-)

Danny,
Sorry. I decided I liked the pins on some kind of background rather than free-floating around to the left. That is why I changed the default ranks as well.
