Your welcome TW.
There is something about that angle in the pic that just intimidates ya. Makes you want to run the other direction.

Nice, I just won a T-72 on eBay. I think it will be a better build than the 2 DML ones and Kirin Lion of Babylon I have.

Looks good. What kit is it? What colors did you use for it? I'm currently working on one and I'm kinda stuck. The paint I mixed up just doesn't look right. The instruction sheet uses Gunze Sangyo but the store I shop at doesn't sell that brand.

hey Kaboom...... the kit is a 1/35 scale Dragon. And the paint is just regualar testors applied with a brush. The paint color is just the olvie drab with tan dry brushed over to look like mud.

With a brush!?!?!?! Excellent work then . Looks like I'm going to need about 5-10 more years of practice.

Nice Tank there Timber Wolf: Any problems with it ?? Being a Tamiya Kit I rather doubht that you did. But still asking anyway. I thought that the sandbags were abit too much. It did not fit the scenery. BUT they look nice anyway. What Colors / Brand did you use?? How long did it take?? How many spare parts ?? DId you enjoy building it ?? I am a big fam of Tamiya Kit's.. What's next ??

...and a M-41 bulldog is next
Oohhh. Good kit! Good kit! :-) I'm done with the construction on my M41 and will begin painting the tracks as soon as I can tear myself away from ArmoramA.. There's two things, possibly three, that you'll want to modify on the bulldog. 1) add some tie-down rings at the front of the tank (right in front of the lights..) 2) replace the tools rack, and 3) possibly, possibly you might want to make a gun mantlet cover on the tank.
Those really weren't my suggestions... I stole them from Gunnie's build up article from his site. Check it out! GunTruck's M41 :-) I hope to upload pics of my finished M41 by the end of the month. Just don't compare it to Gunnie's.... please! I can't compete with the master - yet!

The treads were just the stock hard plastic ones and they were in different lengths. eg. a long one 4 the top and bottom = _______/ and then little ones that go around the
corners = _ _ _ .

Yes, Paint: Sorry" I thought that I had specified. Anyway I was aondering it was a
particular Green Or Grey Soviet Color, Since they now make those typr colors in the Model Master brands. But Yeah you answered my questions. Thanks for your paitence and Time. Good Luck with the Walker Bulldog, It seems to be a favorite around here. When I build my next Soviet Tank I will let you know. I planned on it being a T-72 as well, I will most likely use a soviet color on mine.

The treads are the soft, flexible kind. Vinyl, I think. Or rubber. Whatever flexible, rubbery tracks are made of!
